Working Style

How I operate

Ship fast, iterate faster

I prefer a real system in motion over a polished deck explaining why nothing has shipped yet.

Stay close to execution

I like strategy, but I trust strategy more when it survives implementation details, weird edge cases, and actual users.

Use AI as leverage, not theater

Most AI demos die the moment they hit production. I care about the stuff that keeps working after the novelty wears off.

Build systems people can live with

The goal isn’t more software. The goal is clearer workflows, better decisions, and less operational drag.

What People Say

Background

About me

I've been building software and products since before I knew it was a career. Started in data analytics and business intelligence — designing reports, building integrations, making sense of messy operational data at Louisiana-Pacific. From there I moved into product. Spent a few years building fast with Bubble and no-code tools at Martech Studios — which turned out to be great training for product thinking. You learn a lot when you can prototype and ship the same week. When AI tooling hit (Claude Code, Cursor), it changed the game. I went from no-code to writing full-stack applications in Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase in roughly two years. Not because I outgrew no-code — because AI made proper code just as fast, with none of the ceilings. Now I operate as an agent orchestrator. I give instructions, agents execute, I review and ship. That system lets me run multiple client projects and build my own products simultaneously — as one person. It's not theoretical. It's how every project on this site got built.
My background in data engineering and system integrations turned out to be the best foundation for product work. Most business problems are really workflow problems wearing different clothes — and that lens still shapes how I build. I care about product strategy, but I also care about implementation details, handoffs, and whether the thing survives contact with reality. That's why this site leans on shipped work, not pitch decks. Based in Nashville. Husband, dad — our daughter was born in 2025, and most of the work you see here was built while she napped. Founder of Automatic, usually testing some new tool or chasing a better system.
